Nature Studies - taught by Maria Tardiff

Maria Tardiff graduated with honors from St. Mary’s Academy in 2020, and went on to earn her associates degree in the Liberal Arts from St. Mary’s College, graduating in 2022. Currently, she is preparing for her second year at Washburn University, where she is studying for a Bachelor of Arts in English. She was recognized on both the Dean’s and President’s list for exceptional academic achievement during her first two semesters at Washburn, and she plans to graduate in 2025. 

STEM - Taught by Teresa Wells

Teresa is a nurse by trade and currently homeschooling her sixth grade son. She has fun projects to share and has a personal interest for her son to learn with friends. She will be utilizing the Exploring Creation books to help inspire STEM projects. STEM projects are even more fun, engaging, and affordable in groups!

Latin & Creative Writing - Taught by Christian McDowell

Chrissy is also a homeschool mother with four of her children enrolled in Legacy. She is also a nurse by trade. She is Happy to teach subjects she has experience teaching her own children. She is eager to share the tried and true memoria press curriculum she uses at home. 

Music - Taught by Sophia Krebsbach

Sophia is entering her junior year in High School and has been homeschooled throughout. She has spent many hours studying music and currently teaches individual piano lessons (Including my own children). Sophia is the oldest of seven children and I have witnessed her ability to calmly manage the eager energy of many ages. She will introduce music appreciation and music skills in a joyful and engaged manner. As a beginning teacher, I will personally guide and assist her throughout the day. 

Art - Taught by Adelaide McDowell

Adelaide is the daughter of Chrissy McDowell. She also has lots of experience engaging and directing all ages. Her passion for art and music will guide her lesson planning for our students. Each child will surely say her class is high among their list of favorites. As a current Homeschooled High School student, she will also be assisted and guided as she gains experience.
