you should know
Parent Responsibilities
- Email is our primary means of communication. Please check your email daily for communication from our instructors and the administration.
- Parents MUST leave a phone number that can be answered at any time throughout each school day. If there is an emergency, we need to be able to call and have you answer, or at least call back within a few minutes.
- We must have a current email address and phone number at all times. If either of these items change, please inform us immediately.
- Students should arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before school begins and parents should arrive promptly at 3:15 to pick up their students.
- Monthly payments are required on the first calendar day of each month your child attends school, payments received after the 15th of the month will be subject to a $25 late fee.
School Closings
Legacy will be closed when Olathe District Schools are closed due to inclement weather. Please watch the local news stations to see if the Olathe District Schools are closed.
Olathe occasionally uses “Virtual Learning Days” instead of some snow days. Please watch your email as we may cancel if Olathe doesn’t cancel, if they declare a VLD.
Dress Code
Legacy has a dress code in place to foster an atmosphere of learning without unnecessary distractions.
Modest clothing is required. Jeans, slacks, skirts, or shorts are acceptable; however, skirts and shorts must be mid-thigh or longer. No tank tops or tops that do not completely cover the midriff. We ask that students do not wear shirts with characters or words on them.

Footwear
Regular tennis shoes and socks or any modest closed-toe shoes.
Miscellaneous
Remember we are representing and striving to honor Christ with our clothing. Keep in mind that we have recess and PE time and clothing should be appropriate for these activities.
Students are encouraged to bring a paint smock.

Lunch/Snack
- All students have a break in their day for snack time.
- Students should bring a snack from home.
- K-12 students will also need to bring a lunch.
- We are a nut-free building.
Tuition Policy
Tuition starts at $115 per month.
Tuition is due on the first day of each month regardless is illness, absence, or scheduled breaks.
Continued enrollment is on a month-to-month basis. 30 days notice via email is required to un-enroll.
Fees are non-refundable.
